Noor Aswad։ 200 Kilometers for a More Inclusive Future
Noor Aswad, Patient Journey Partner at Roche, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What if the greatest distance we covered wasn’t measured in kilometers?
Last week, we set off from the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea, all the way to Aqaba, running 200 kilometers as Team ‘Run Beyond Hemophilia’, united by one purpose: amplifying the voices of people living with hemophilia.
Through our partnership with the Jordanian Hemophilia Society, patients, healthcare professionals, runners, and influencers came together, not defined by their backgrounds or titles, but by a shared belief in what is possible when barriers are challenged.
Along those 200 kilometers, this journey became something much bigger.
It became about challenging perceptions, empowering patient voices, and redefining what inclusion truly means. About seeing people beyond their diagnosis and creating space for them to participate, belong, and thrive.
What made this one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve ever had wasn’t the distance we covered, but the connections we built, the stories we shared, and the perspectives we gained.
Because real impact isn’t measured by how far we go, but by what we change along the way.
We started this journey hoping to make a difference in others’ lives. I never expected how deeply it would change our own perspectives.
Beyond every diagnosis, every role, and every title, there is a human being with a story worth hearing and a place worth making.
We ran 200 kilometers together. We came back with something far greater: a deeper understanding of what it truly means to make people feel seen, heard, and included.”
