“Conferences don’t change healthcare. The conversations that continue after them do. It’s the opportunity to exchange perspectives that challenge assumptions, generate new questions, and strengthen future research.
As someone working to close the gap between research and practice, I left International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) reminded that meaningful progress depends on collaboration across researchers, clinicians, industry, and patients.
Every conversation has the potential to influence how we design studies, generate evidence, and ultimately improve health outcomes.
