Sebastien Lobet: Physiotherapy and Joint Health Across the Spectrum of Bleeding Disorders
Sebastien Lobet, Physiotherapist, PhD at Cliniques St-Luc-Bruxelles and HUG-Genève, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I had the privilege of speaking at the European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) conference in Istanbul on Saturday, 3 October.
I gave two presentations: one on the importance of physiotherapy for everyone living with a bleeding disorder, and another on musculoskeletal involvement in people with von Willebrand disease.
What makes EHC conferences particularly meaningful is the diversity of voices in the room.
Alongside medical specialists and healthcare professionals, patients and patient-association representatives bring highly relevant, practical questions about everyday care and management.
It was a real pleasure to share experiences with them and to deliver presentations that were perhaps more practical and grounded in real life than usual.
Thank you to the EHC for the invitation and to everyone who contributed to such engaging discussions.”
