DOACs to Prevent VTE After Cancer-Related Surgeries: A Network Meta-Analysis
Thrombosis and Hemostasis Journal recently shared a post on X:
”DOAC for Prevention of Venous Thromboembolism after cancer-related surgery: a Network Meta-analysis. Pititto et al. included 5 RCTs and found that DOACs reduced VTE without increase in bleeding.”

Their network meta-analysis included 5 RCTs and found that DOACs actually reduced VTE risk without increasing bleeding.
