ICTHIC, established in 2001, is a leading biennial conference held in Bergamo that unites global experts to discuss advances and challenges in cancer-associated thrombosis.
The relationship between thrombosis and cancer has long been recognized, but the field has expanded rapidly in recent years.
VTE is a frequent and serious complication in cancer patients, particularly during therapy.
Managing these events is difficult due to the dual risks of recurrence and bleeding, highlighting the importance of optimized treatment approaches.
