Anticoagulation in Liver Transplant Candidates: Is Apixaban Safe?
The American Journal of Transplantation shared a post on X:
”Up to 26% of liver transplant candidates have an indication for anticoagulation whilst on the waiting list. Apixaban appears safe to use in the peri-transplant setting for low MELD patients awaiting liver transplantation.”
