When the Same Risk Can Be a Benefit – The Balance Between Bleeding and Thrombosis
Sanil Rege, a Consultant Psychiatrist (MBBS, MRCPsych, FRANZCP), shared a post on X:
“The same risk is a benefit for some.
‘On the one hand, there may be an increased risk of bleeding; on the other hand, a reduction in thrombotic risk may be possible.’
That’s why in clinical practice we call it a risk-benefit analysis.”
