”CLOSURE AF presented at AHA – no benefit of left atrial appendage occlusion compared to standard anticoagulation regimen in patients with AFib and high risk of stroke and increased risk of bleeding.
Very old population, very high risk patients.
Low rate of complications with high procedural success.”
