Venous Thromboembolism May Be Increased in the Early Phases of ANCA-Associated Vasculitis and Could Be Associated With a High Body Mass Index: TRVaS Experience
This study highlights that venous thromboembolism risk may be increased during the early phases of ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) and may be associated with a higher body mass index.
We believe these findings will contribute meaningfully to clinical awareness and patient management in vasculitis.

Venous Thromboembolism May Be Increased in the Early Phases of ANCA-Associated Vasculitis and Could Be Associated With a High Body Mass Index: TRVaS Experience
This study demonstrates that the risk of venous thromboembolism may be increased in patients with ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV), particularly in the early stages of the disease, and suggests a possible association with a high body mass index.
We believe that these data, obtained in collaboration with TRVaS, will make important contributions to clinical awareness and patient management.”
