Sandeep Jagtap: Presenting the Research Behind Pediatric Fondaparinux at ISTH 2026
Sandeep Jagtap, Senior Director, Global Clinical Strategy and Innovation at Viatris, shared a pos on LinkedIn:
“Some scientific moments stay with you for a long time.
It was truly special to present one of our most cherished pieces of work at ISTH 2026 in Paris. This research on Arixtra (fondaparinux) contributed to its FDA approval for pediatric venous thromboembolism patients, helping address an area of significant unmet medical need.
Presenting this work on such a prestigious global platform was both humbling and deeply rewarding.
I am sincerely grateful to all the colleagues, investigators, and collaborators whose dedication and contributions made this work possible. It was a proud and memorable moment to see years of collective effort translated into meaningful progress for children.”
