Ahmed Mohsen: Choosing the Appropriate NSAID? Balance GI vs CV risk!
Ahmed Mohsen, Associated Professor of Cardiology at Cairo University, shared a post on X:
“Choosing the appropriate NSAID? Balance GI vs CV risk!
High GI → Celecoxib ± PPI
High CV → Naproxen or low-dose Celecoxib (200 mg OD)
Both high → avoid NSAIDs if possible
Low GI&CV risk → any non selective NSAID
