Amna Jamalallail, Procurement Specialist at Injaz Technical Contracting, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, adding:

“I’m proud to share my published research paper:

‘Hereditary Blood Diseases in Jeddah (Sickle Cell Anemia – Thalassemia)’

Published in the Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (2024), this research explores the social and economic characteristics of patients with hereditary blood diseases in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and examines the relationship between premarital screening and disease incidence.

Through this study, I aimed to contribute to the field of Medical Geography and highlight the importance of health awareness, preventive healthcare, and scientific research in supporting community health.

I’m grateful to everyone who contributed to this research, especially my co-author, Dr. Nadia Rafed Al-Obaidi.”
