Giulia Di Paolo: Connecting Plasma Donation to the Patients Who Depend on It
Giulia Di Paolo, Global Corporate Communications Associate at Kedrion Biopharma, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Sometimes, you need to see the whole picture to truly understand the impact of what you do.
Last week I was in Gödöllő, Hungary, for an exchange between colleagues from Unica Plasma’s plasma donation centres and the Kedrion Biopharma site team.
One of the most meaningful moments was meeting patients and listening to their stories. Seeing the people involved at different stages of the same process — from plasma donation to production, all the way to the patients — made the connection between them much more tangible.
We know how it works, of course. But there’s a difference between knowing that every step matters and actually seeing all those steps, and the people behind them, come together.
It’s easy to focus on what we do every day.
Experiences like this remind us who we do it for and that makes all the difference.”
