‘PICCs were associated with longer dwell times and fewer local infections, without increased risk of CRBSIs or thrombosis.
These findings suggest that PICCs may help optimize supportive care in clinically stable patients undergoing AML induction chemotherapy’ Ehrlich et al (2026).”
