Elad Asher: Immature Platelet Fraction Is Linked to Worse Outcomes in ICCU Patients
Elad Asher, Interventional cardiologist, Head of ICCU, Deputy Director of the Heart Center at SZMC, and Associate Professor of Cardiology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, shared a post on X about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Seminars in Thrombosis and Hemostasis, adding:
”Pleased to share our new paper in Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
In an unselected ICCU cohort, higher immature platelet fraction was independently associated with adverse outcomes, supporting IPF as a readily available risk marker.”
