DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis)
A condition in which a blood clot forms in a deep vein, usually in the leg. It can cause pain, swelling, warmth, and redness, and may become life-threatening if the clot travels to the lungs.

Physiotherapy Role:

  •  Early mobilization (as advised by the doctor)
  •  Ankle–foot exercises to improve circulation
  •  Graduated compression therapy (if prescribed)
  •  Breathing exercises to reduce complications

Contact with Dr. Khushi for safe physiotherapy care.

Cellulitis
A bacterial infection of the skin and underlying tissues, causing redness, swelling, pain, and warmth in the affected area.

Physiotherapy Role:

  •  Elevation of the affected limb
  •  Gentle movements to reduce stiffness
  •  Edema management after infection control
