Laura Gálvez-Melero: How a Combination of Imipramine and Ticlopidine Could Be a Promising Option for Glioma Treatment
Laura Gálvez-Melero, Phd Student at University of the Balearic Islands, shared a post on LinkedIn about an article by Ksenya Shchors, published in Cancer Cell, adding:
“Hiiii I’m back!
After taking a one-month break from sharing scientific content, I’m excited to return with more interesting papers and ideas, and of course my weekly questions!
Maybe some of you even missed it a little bit.
I think there isn’t a better way to come back than by sharing a research closely related to my thesis topic.
The study explores how a combination of Imipramine (a tricyclic antidepressant) and Ticlopidine (an anticoagulant) could be a promising option for glioma treatment.
And after this month, there’s an idea that concerns me…
We see a lot of science communication on social media every day, but what matters more nowadays: getting scientific information out quickly, or making sure it’s true”
