”From the current 5/2025 issue of the journal
These results further confirm that elevated Lp(a) LPA contributes to atherosclerosis progression and increases risk mainly in individuals at high CVD risk and/or with established ASCVD.
Therefore, we should diagnose elevated Lp(a) early and optimize other established risk factors to reduce Lp(a)-related residual CVD risk.”
