Vikram Huded Shares The Thrombectomy Screening 3-6-24 Rule for Anterior Circulation Stroke
Vikram Huded, Director and Clinical Lead for Interventional Neurology Program at Narayana Health, shared on LinkedIn:
”A meaningful milestone to share today.
Our new thrombectomy screening 3-6-24 rule for anterior circulation stroke has been published and has been named by Dr Dileep Yavagal as the
“Huded Rule” The core idea is simple:
- ASPECTS ≥3, NIHSS ≥6, and thrombectomy up to 24 hours using CT/CTA.
This framework supports wider treatment access and reflects the direction modern stroke science is moving—toward saving every viable neuron, not excluding patients because of clock time or infarct size.
Proud moment for our team, and for stroke care in India”
