Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) shared on LinkedIn about a recent article by Adam Kanack et al, adding:
”Platelet factor 4 antibody persistence and long-term pathogenicity in vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia
In VITT patients, anti-PF4 antibodies persist as monoclonal/oligoclonal clones without epitope spreading, with one case showing platelet-activating antibodies four years post-event.”
