Digital Twin Study Predicts Higher Thrombotic Recurrence with DOACs vs VKAs in APS Patients
APS Support UK has shared a post on X:
“A digital twin model (n=89) assessed thrombotic recurrence in APS treated with DOACs vs VKAs.
DOACs: 24.2% recurrence
VKAs: 19.9%
Risk higher with DOACs in triple-positive and arterial cases.
Comparable in non-triple-positive and venous.”
