”Excited to share the result of a great collaboration: our review “Platelet activation and signaling in thrombus formation” is now published in Blood.
In this review, we take a deep dive into how platelets drive thrombus formation ranging from classic platelet signaling pathways to surprising new players uncovered using phenotype information of 540 mouse genes.
We further emphasize how platelet responses change in venous, inflammatory, and infection-driven thrombosis, considering their interactions with the endothelium, leukocytes, and red blood cells.
