Ilja Oomen on Immune Tolerance Induction Failure and Hemophilia A
Ilja Oomen, PhD candidate in Pediatric Hematology at AMC – Academic Medical Center, shared on LinkedIn:
”Happy to share!
Our latest article on genetic variants that predict immune tolerance induction failure in people with severe hemophilia A has been published in RPTH Journal.
Over 10 years of hard work with our International GO-ITI steering group with collaborating centers in Brazil, Canada, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, has resulted in this interesting article.
Working towards a better prediction of the chance of ITI succes (or risk of ITI failure) before starting this intensive treatment!
Many thanks to our fellow researchers for their enthusiasm and dedication.”
