Kausik Ray, Professor of Public Health at Imperial College London, Past President of European Atherosclerosis Society, posted on LinkedIn:
”One of the exciting things I have had the honoring of doing over the years are launch meetings. Bringing new therapies from the first PCSK9 MAbs, then to the first siRNA inclisiran and now the first ACLY inhibitor Bempedoic acid in the MENA region.
Good discussions about the CVD, lipids, guidelines and where new therapies sit in this this region at high risk for CVD.
The last 15 years of time spent on education, awareness, simplicity continue to help bring improvements in patient care.”
