Andrea Van Beek, Board of Directors of Anticoagulation Forum, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, shared on LinkedIn:
”Proud to be a Certified Anticoagulation Care Provider (CACP)!
As a Nurse Practitioner, earning and maintaining my CACP certification has been a defining part of my professional growth.
This credential isn’t just a title—it represents my deep commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and lifelong learning in the complex world of anticoagulation management.
Through the CACP, I’ve gained the tools and confidence to:
- Provide safe, evidence-based care for my patients on anticoagulant therapy—helping them navigate the complexities of therapy with confidence, and compassion.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and reduce complications.
- Contribute to Adventist Health and Visalia Medical Clinic’s missions by promoting high-quality, standardized anticoagulation practices that enhance both patient and system-level outcomes.
Every patient I meet reminds me why this work matters—balancing risk, preventing harm, and empowering individuals to take charge of their health.
I say it so often – I love what I do!!
If you’re passionate about advancing your expertise and making a bigger impact in anticoagulation management, I highly recommend learning more about certification through the National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers (NCBAP)”
