This week, I was in Paris for a few appointments, and I took the opportunity to do my 6th plasma donatio of the year. Between my professional break and my house renovation project, taking this time might seem small… yet it’s a little gesture that can save lives.
Beyond the donation itself, it was also a precious moment to catch up with my nurse friends, chat, and share a human connection amid our busy lives.
Giving isn’t just a medical act – it’s being part of a chain of solidarity even when our days are full.
These moments remind me that we can always contribute, even in small ways. And sometimes, these small gestures have a much bigger impact than we imagine.
So, if you’re hesitating: take the time. It’s never wasted.
