Peter Pisters on The Cancer Letter Podcast: A Bold Vision for Pediatric Cancer Becomes Reality
MD Anderson Cancer Center recently reposted from Peters Pisters on LinkedIn.
”From the day Peter Pisters became president of UT MD Anderson nearly seven years ago, he wanted to do something “really big for pediatric cancer.” Listen to him talk to The Cancer Letter about how that dream is becoming a reality with the launch of Kinder Children’s Cancer Center.
Peter Pisters on LinkedIn:
‘As a sarcoma surgeon at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, I often looked out the window at Texas Children’s Hospital and thought of the possibilities for collaborating to create a pediatric oncology center. After years of hearing that this was impossible, I am thrilled about our joint venture to launch Kinder Children’s Cancer Center and am proud of what we at MD Anderson are building with Debbie Sukin and her team at Texas Children’s, and I enjoyed talking with The Cancer Letter about it.’ ”
