“Even in settings where diagnostics and factor support are provided free, recognizing and addressing the hidden costs faced by families creates a meaningful opportunity to further strengthen equitable hemophilia care. Expanding access to prophylaxis with home therapy and incorporating indirect costs into health-economic planning can substantially reduce this burden while simultaneously improving outcomes.”
