Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet drug used to prevent blood clot formation in patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

- Prevents activation of GPIIb/IIIa complex

- Loading dose (ACS/PCI): 300–600 mg stat

Rare: Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP)
