Heghine Khachatryan: Behind These Photos Are Not Just Official Meetings…
Heghine Khachatryan, Editor-in-Chief of Hemostasis Today, Head of Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center at Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, reposted from WFH on LinkedIn:
”Behind these photos are not just official meetings, but people who have worked for months and years with one shared goal: to change the lives of people living with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders.
These people have:
- read every word,
- debated every formulation,
- defended every patient’s voice,
- and refused to give up when the path became difficult.
Today, as the WHO Executive Board has supported the advancement of this resolution, it is important that our patients see and feel that:
– real people are fighting for them,
– from different countries and cultures,
– united by the same values — justice, equitable access, and life-saving treatment.
I am deeply grateful to all my colleagues and friends
who believed in this journey,
shared the responsibility,
and stood by our patients until the very end.
This is not just a political document.
This is a human fight — for human lives.
And we will continue.”
Quoting World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH)‘s post:
