”A 20-minute walk increases blood flow and oxygen delivery to the brain, which helps neurons work more efficiently. This improved circulation supports attention, memory formation, and creative thinking.
Walking also activates brain chemicals such as dopamine and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which are linked to learning, mood, and mental clarity.
Unlike caffeine, which mainly stimulates alertness through the nervous system, walking supports the brain’s underlying biology, leading to more balanced and longer-lasting cognitive benefits.”
