Salma Ismail: Honored to Be Invited By the EHA2025 as Part of Their Lighting the Flame Program
Salma Ismail, Board Member of the The Debrecen Medical Students’ Association (DOE), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I was incredibly honored to be invited by the European Hematology Association (EHA) as part of their Lighting the Flame program to attend the EHA2025 Congress in Milan this June.
As a delegate, I had the opportunity to represent the program at the EHA booth; an exciting and rewarding experience that allowed me to connect with hematologists, researchers, and fellow aspiring clinicians from all around the world. These interactions deepened my understanding of the global hematology landscape and reminded me how inspiring it is to be part of such a passionate and innovative community.
One of the highlights of the experience was reuniting with my Lighting the Flame peers; an incredible group of young medical minds whom I’m lucky to learn and grow alongside. I’m already looking forward to seeing them again at this year’s retreat in just a few days!
Huge thanks to the EHA team for your tireless efforts in supporting young physicians and for continuously creating meaningful platforms that bridge early-career doctors with the wider hematology world.”
