Lucie Raskin: New FAERS Evidence Suggests Lower VTE Risk With Natural Estrogen COCs
Lucie Raskin, PhD student at University of Namur, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, adding:
”New publication accepted in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Our disproportionality analysis of the FAERS database provides new evidence suggesting that combined oral contraceptives containing natural estrogens may represent safer options regarding venous thromboembolic risk.
Pleased to share this work with Marie Didembourg, Jean-Michel Dogné, Mitchell Creinin, Médéa Locuet.
Special thanks to my promotors Jonathan Douxfils and Charlotte Beaudart.”
