No leukocytosis.
Looks like ET?
Think again.
Unusual CML can present with isolated thrombocytosis, mimicking other myeloproliferative neoplasms.
Don’t miss: Subtle basophilia
- Left shift
- Small hypolobated megakaryocytes
- BCR: ABL1 positivity
Never label thrombocytosis as ET without excluding CML.
One is chronic.
One is targetable.”
