Yogesh Kalkonde, Public Health Practitioner and Executive Committee Member at Sangwari-People’s Association for Equity and Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In continuation of the efforts to stregthen the primary care for sickle cell disease, I had an opportunity to train Community Health Officers (CHOs) in the Durg district a few weeks ago. The training was organized by ICMR NIRTH. Dr Dipti Jain, the national nodal officer for sickle cell disease, Dr Ravindra Kumar and I discussed the ways by which the CHOs can improve care for sickle cell disease.
Friends from the Sickle Care Foundation also attended the training.”
