Maxime Dely: A Meaningful Journey of 14 years in Blood Transfusion
Maxime Dely, Therapeutic Solutions Sales Consultant at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“14 years in blood transfusion: a meaningful journey
It has already been 14 years since I started working in the field of blood transfusion.
Right after graduating, I had the opportunity to enter this demanding field directly, without imagining how much it would become a daily source of human
enrichment and scientific stimulation.
This profession means meeting people with unique life stories: patients, donors, physicians, nurses, caregivers… so many faces, cultures, and experiences that
constantly remind us of the strength of collective commitment.
At the heart of it all is this invisible link between a donor and a patient – no meeting, no words, yet a life-changing impact.
A remarkable form of silent solidarity
It is also a field in constant evolution: therapeutic innovations, new cell recovery techniques, continuous improvement of practices, and medical advances.
Each step reinforces my conviction that I work in an area where learning never stops.
Throughout this ‘short career,’ I have also had the chance to discover around thirty countries, explore fascinating cultures, and broaden both my view of the world and my profession.
The journey continues with the same curiosity, the same passion… and still just as much happiness.”
