CHAMPION-AF Demonstrated That Not All Bleeding Events Are the Same – Boston Scientific Cardiology
Boston Scientific Cardiology, shared a post on X:
”Not all bleeding events are equal. Using a modified ISTH definition focused on clinically relevant non-major bleeding requiring hospitalization or HCP intervention, CHAMPION-AF demonstrated superior freedom from bleeding-which remained significant when including procedural bleeding. This highlights a clinically meaningful benefit, even in lower-risk patients.
Hear from Dr. Shephal Doshi and Dr. Ken Ellenbogen on why these events significantly impact patient experience, treatment decisions, and quality of life.”
