Paulus Kirchhof, Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) and Director of the Department of Cardiology at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and Ulrich Schotten co-authored, published in EurHJ, adding:
“AF burden modifies stroke risk in contemporary device patients.
Kudos to Drs Rosman and her team for a thorough analysis of AF burden, and AF density, in a large, contemporary cohort of US patients with implanted devices. They identify clear signals that AF burden matters for outcomes.”
