“Colleagues in Care, together with the World Hypertension League, World Heart Federation , World Health Organization and Harlan Krumholz / American College of Cardiology celebrate World Hypertension Day.

Hypertension remains one of the most important, common, and modifiable threats to cardiovascular health worldwide.

World Hypertension Day is a reminder that progress depends not only on awareness, but also on detection, effective treatment, sustained control, and continued scientific discovery.

This collection highlights recent JACC content spanning guideline updates, clinical trials, treatment strategies, and new approaches to blood pressure control. I hope readers will find it useful as we renew our shared commitment to reducing the burden of hypertension.”
