”Health-related quality of life in children with von Willebrand disease: results of the French real-life Willebrand Study Health-related Quality of Life study
In this nationwide French study of 117 children with all VWD types, HRQoL assessments revealed age-specific and gender-specific challenges — from physical limitations in preschoolers to independence issues in adolescents. Severe VWD and low VWF levels were linked to poorer quality of life, with notable impacts on family dynamics and treatment satisfaction.”
