‘Superior Mesenteric Vein Thrombosis Complicating Acute Alcohol-Induced Pancreatitis’
We present a rare vascular complication of acute pancreatitis — a 36-year-old woman with alcohol-induced pancreatitis who developed non-occlusive superior mesenteric vein (SMV) thrombosis extending toward the portal vein.
