Robert Tadevosyan: A Week of Science, Collaboration, and Growth at ISTH 2026

Robert Tadevosyan, Head Assistant of Scientific Communities at YSMU Student’s Scientific Society, Volunteer Publishing Editor at Hemostasis Today, shared a post on LinkedIn:

”Still thinking about what an amazing week International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) 2026 was.

These five days were filled with learning, inspiring conversations, and meeting incredible people from all over the world.

I was proud to present our poster, which describes what is, to the best of our knowledge, the first reported case of the coexistence of von Willebrand disease, β-thalassemia, an MEFV gene mutation, and platelet aggregation defects in a single patient.

It was exciting to share our findings, discuss this unique case with colleagues, and receive valuable feedback.

A huge thank you to my scientific supervisor Heghine Khachatryan for the constant support, guidance, and encouragement. I wouldn’t have had this opportunity without your mentorship.

Thank you to my senior friends Anna Stepanyan, Elen Avetisyan, Hemine Sayiyan, who were always there to help, answer my questions, and support me along the way.

A special thank you to my two friends and co-authors Samvel Avetisyan and Adriana Davtyan. This work would not have been possible without your collaboration, support, and countless discussions throughout the research process.

And of course, a little thank you to Paris. Between the busy congress days, it was wonderful to walk through such a beautiful city, enjoy its atmosphere, and create memories that I’ll always carry with me.

After these inspiring five days, I feel full of new ideas, motivation, and excitement for the future.

ISTH2026 gave me not only new knowledge and connections but also a fresh perspective on research and the importance of continuous learning.

I’m excited to take these experiences forward and continue growing in this field.”
