Brandon Luu: Can Iron Deficiency Cause Fatigue Without Anemia?
Brandon Luu, Respirology Fellow at Queen’s University, shared a post on X about a recent article by Paul Vaucher et al., published in CMAJ, adding:
“Iron deficiency can make you tired even without anemia.
In a randomized trial of tired, non-anemic women with low ferritin, fatigue scores fell 48% with iron vs 29% with placebo.”
