Shadi Yaghi, Professor and Chair of Neurology at Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, shared a post on X about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Stroke, adding:
“More evidence supporting the use of DOACs for the treatment of cerebral venous thrombosis except when APLS is present.
In this large meta-analysis, VKA and DOACs were equivalent, regardless of DOAC type.”
