Mary Cushman: Understanding Stroke in Patients with Cancer
Mary Cushman, President Elect at International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Babak B. Navi et al, published in AHAIASA Journals, adding:
“It’s World Stroke Day so I’m reflecting on some of my publications this year.
I love this one we did for the American Heart Association.
To treat stroke and prevent recurrent stroke in patients with cancer, we need to start at the beginning.
Among other things, this paper proposes a classification scheme for stroke tailored to people with cancer.”
