Farzin Beygui: SOLOTAVI Tests Aspirin Discontinuation After TAVI
Farzin Beygui, Professor of Cardiology at University of Caen Normandy, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in American Heart Journal, adding:
“Proud to share the publication of the SOLOTAVI randomized trial design.
The study is assessing aspirin discontinuation at 90 days versus standard long term therapy after TAVI in patients with no ‘other’ indication for aspirin.
Congratulations and many thanks to the study investigators and co-authors of the 23 french centers, for their commitment and major envolvement that has already led to the recruitment of nearly half of the expected 1400.
