Ahmad Gharehbaghian: Supporting Blood Transfusion Teams and Strengthening Iran’s Blood Supply
Ahmad Gharehbaghian, Managing Director at Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“After a while, due to work commitments at the central headquarters and given the country’s current sensitive conditions, I had the opportunity to visit the Tehran Regional Blood Transfusion Center again, the country’s largest and busiest blood transfusion center.
While expressing my thanks and appreciation for the Tehran Province Blood Transfusion colleagues’ good efforts and hard work, I sat down with them, both collectively and individually, to listen to their words, concerns, worries, and, of course, requests.
These dear colleagues are among the most important and valuable social assets of the Blood Transfusion Organization, and the aim was to take action, through consultation and shared thinking, to improve their working conditions; something that would certainly also enhance blood transfusion activities.
In the end, to help sustain blood reserves and make even a small contribution to the country’s national blood supply network, I donated blood at the Tehran Blood Transfusion Center.”
