- ‘Patient feels tired before discharge’>> ‘Transfuse 1 unit!’
- ‘INR is 1.3’ >> ‘Give 4 units of FFP!’
- ‘Patient is poor + Albumin is low’ >> ‘Give FFP for nutrition!’
- Blood Bank asks: ‘What’s the indication? Is the patient actively bleeding?’
- Clinician: ‘Why so many questions?!’
The Reality: Sometimes, the safest blood bag is the one that happily stays inside the refrigerator.
