Today marks an important step toward a shared vision: bringing institutions, expertise, innovation, and clinical services together to improve the lives of patients and communities.
Our collaboration will focus on three strategic areas:
- Integrated Blood, Tissue and Specialized Clinical Services
Strengthening collaboration in blood collection and supply, transfusion medicine, patient blood management, therapeutic apheresis, stem-cell transplantation support, and approved tissue-banking services. The goal is to create stronger connections between the blood system and specialized clinical care — ensuring that patients receive the right services, at the right time, and with the highest standards of safety and quality. - Education, Research and Capacity Building
Investing in people and knowledge through joint training, academic programs, research, innovation, knowledge exchange, and technology transfer. By connecting practitioners, researchers, and institutions, we can build the skills and knowledge required to advance blood banking, transfusion medicine, tissue banking, and cellular therapies. - Sustainable Systems and Shared Resources
Building the systems that make collaboration sustainable — including clear governance and referral pathways, digital traceability, shared infrastructure and resources, and mechanisms that support service continuity. Technology and digital transformation will be important enablers of transparency, efficiency, quality, and accountability.
