Christina Mansour: Shifting Aortic Stenosis Care Toward a Lifetime Management Strategy
Christina Mansour, Cardiology Fellow at UC Irvine shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, adding:
“Thrilled to share my first post on LinkedIn with our recently published review paper in the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM):
‘Lifetime Management of Aortic Stenosis: Evolving Strategies and Personalized Decision-Making.’
In this review, we describe the evolving paradigm of aortic stenosis management toward a lifetime strategy that extends beyond the initial procedure.
We highlight the importance of index valve selection, guided by clinical and anatomic factors as well as future re-intervention planning, to achieve durable long-term outcomes.
Grateful to my co-authors for their collaboration and support! Long-Co Nguyen, Fabio Sagebin, and Antonio H. Frangieh.
Thank you Dr. Antonio H. Frangieh, for the opportunity to contribute to this important area of research and for all your incredible mentorship!”
